It's Payback time

Some highly dedicated Spaniards have been working on an impressive series of articles about canceled adventure games, and the latest installment (English version) details the history of Full Throttle 2, which as you may know involved two distinct attempts: Payback and Hell on Wheels.

The excellent article does a fantastic job of giving you some in-depth history of the failed project, including quotes from Bill Tiller and behind-the-scenes details that have not previously been talked about. On top of that, some newly unearthed concept art is included. Check it out.

Great article and great to see those pieces of never seen before concept art (and I love that use of partially transparent pngs! So cool!) I don't know why Mixnmojo is linked to in the last line, though. It makes it sound like Bill Tiller works for us!

Glad you liked it. :) We thought we owed you the link, as the series was kind of born after seeing your list of canceled games. Besides, some information is also taken away from it. I have changed the way we linked you, better now?

Oh, and I meant to ask you: might we have permission to use the concept art that we don't already have in our games database? We'd make sure to link back to the article in the image description.

We will post the interview in English version soon. If you want to, I will let you know about it. We are Spanish, indeed, thanks for the correction Diduz. :) Perhaps we will have more pieces on Lucasarts in the series, who knows... ;)

Apparently the first article was about Space Babes and The Naked Gun, so I'm not so sure about Sam & Max. Though today is the four year anniversary!

The site also has a nice, but to my knowledge untranslated, interview with Barwood and Falstein about Mata Hari including some new screenshots, so check that out too!
